She is Sarah Geronimo.

Sarah Asher Tua Geronimo was born on July 25, 1988 in Santa Cruz, Manila, Philippines. She is the third of four children of Delfin and Divina Geronimo. Sarah started singing publicly at the early age of two. At four years old, she was already auditioning for various television programs.

Sarah became a part of several shows at the ages of 4 to 9 years old namely, “Penpen De Sarapen,” “Ang TV,” and “NEXT.” She was also an extra in the movie “Sarah… Ang Munting Prinsesa” in 1995. In the same year, Sarah, who was just 7 years old back then, was among the performers during Pope John Paul II’s visit in the Philippines.

Aside from doing auditions, Sarah performed at shopping malls and hotel lounges, and she also joined various singing competitions at her young age. “Tuklas Talino” was her first-ever singing contest.

Finally, in 2002, Sarah joined the singing competition “Star For A Night,” and she was hailed as the grand champion at the age of 14. She won P1 million and a managerial contract with Viva Entertainment, Inc., and that was the beginning of her journey to stardom.

Since then, Sarah has starred in blockbuster films, released multi-platinum records, and performed in sold out shows and concerts. She has also received numerous local and international awards, and gained millions and millions of fans.

Sarah is now one of the most sought-after Filipino artists of this generation, and she is crowned as the Popstar Royalty of the Philippine entertainment industry.
